The Cairo Marriott Hotel is genuinely a beautiful historic hotel with lovely decorations and a friendly atmosphere. However, the check-in process was painfully slow and the rooms felt a bit dated. Though the breakfast was quite good and the staff overall tended to be helpful, some areas require improvement to elevate the experience further.
Rooms
6.0
My room on the 16th floor faced the Nile, though it did feel a bit dated. Housekeeping seemed to miss a few spots, which was disappointing. The room itself was spacious and had modern conveniences, making it comfortable after a long day.
Service
7.0
The staff was generally polite and accommodating, which I appreciated. However, the check-in experience was chaotic, taking far too long. I was grateful for the compensation of free transport to the airport on my departure, though.
Location
8.0
The location is excellent, right near the Nile. The hotel itself is rich in history and charm, which added to my overall experience. While the distance to the breakfast area was a bit of a trek from my room, the surroundings were pleasant.
Dining
9.0
Breakfast in the executive lounge was quite good. I loved the fruit choices and the abundance of pastries. It was nice to have freshly made omelets and a varied selection to kick start my day.
Facilities
8.0
The hotel has great facilities including several dining options and a gorgeous courtyard. However, I found navigating the different towers to be an inconvenience at times. The security measures were thorough, which I appreciated for peace of mind.

My stay at the Cairo Marriott was a mix of comfort and frustration. The rooms were spacious and quite luxurious, yet the service left much to be desired. While the hotel's historic charm near the Nile was enchanting, the dining experience and staff professionalism were disappointing.
Rooms
8.0
The Deluxe Nile View room was fantastic, featuring a beautiful balcony and some of the most comfortable beds I've ever encountered. However, the decor felt a bit dated and could use some updating.
Service
6.0
Most staff members were welcoming, but there were moments when service felt indifferent, especially in the dining areas. I noticed some staff were only friendly when tips were involved, which was disheartening.
Location
9.0
The hotel's location in Zamalek is unbeatable. It offers easy walking access to cafes, art galleries, and restaurants while being right on the Nile River. The historic surroundings enhance the experience significantly.
Dining
5.0
The dining arrangements were less than satisfactory. Room service was disappointing; even a simple omelette failed to meet five-star expectations. The main dining area felt crowded and disorganized during breakfast hours.
Facilities
7.0
The hotel has a wide range of facilities, including a lovely pool and beautiful gardens, though I found the atmosphere often noisy, which detracted from the experience. I also appreciated the convenience store on-site.

My stay at the Cairo Marriott Hotel was a mix of luxury and frustration. The beautiful palace-like architecture and helpful staff made a lasting impression, but there were several aspects that could use improvement. While the breakfast spread was vast, the quality was inconsistent. and my room had some discomforts that affected my overall experience.
Rooms
6.0
My room was spacious and had a lovely balcony overlooking the Nile. However, cleanliness could have been better as I noticed some dirty spots on the carpet and sheets. The noise level from the streets was quite disruptive at times.
Service
7.0
The service, especially from staff like Reem at check-in and the pool staff, was commendable. They were welcoming and attentive. Unfortunately, some encounters at the reception were not as pleasant, with some staff appearing dismissive.
Location
8.0
Situated in the upscale Zamalek area, the hotel's location offered stunning views of the Nile. However, accessibility was a concern. Without taxis or Ubers, exploring the area on foot wasn't feasible.
Dining
7.0
The variety of restaurants was impressive and the food, particularly at the Italian restaurant, was excellent. However, I found the breakfast offerings repetitive and sometimes lacking in quality, which was disappointing considering the hotel's prestige.
Facilities
7.0
The facilities are extensive with a large pool and gym, both of which were enjoyable. However, the pool service was hit or miss, and I encountered some issues with the laundry services being quite pricey.

I recently spent three nights at the Cairo Marriott Hotel & Omar Khayyam Casino, and it was an really good experience. The historic decor brought a charm to my stay, and the surrounding area was safe for exploring. While the rooms are comfortable, my bathroom could use some updates. Overall, the service and food options were standout features. 🌟
Rooms
8.0
The rooms were clean and spacious, featuring comfortable bedding and nice balconies. However, the bathroom was a bit small, and there were some noise issues from neighboring areas. I’d suggest requesting a specific view if you're sensitive to noise.
Service
10.0
The staff here were incredibly accommodating and friendly, which greatly enhanced my stay. I experienced excellent service from the housekeeping staff and appreciated the quick help I received when I misplaced my wallet.
Location
9.0
The hotel is ideally located on Gezira Island along the Nile, close to cafes, art galleries, and the Cairo Museum. I felt safe walking around the neighborhood, which added to my enjoyment.
Dining
9.0
The dining options were impressive with a great breakfast buffet that had everything from made-to-order omelets to delicious pastries. I particularly enjoyed dining at the Lebanese restaurant, which featured a lovely outdoor seating area. There were minor issues with additional charges for breakfast, so be sure to check your bill.
Facilities
8.0
The hotel offers a variety of facilities including shops, a casino, and laundry services. While there were two banks on-site that were very convenient for travelers, there was some outdated furnishing in places.

I had an amazing week at the Cairo Marriott Hotel! The customer service was great, especially at the executive lounge where they remembered my beverage preferences right from the start. The hotel itself is beautiful with a stunning Nile view from my diplomatic suite. However, I did overhear some guests expressing dissatisfaction with their experiences, which made me a bit wary.
Rooms
8.0
My diplomatic suite was lovely and well-maintained, but I did notice some areas that could use renovation. The view overlooking the Nile truly added to the experience.
Service

The staff was incredibly attentive and friendly, especially in the executive lounge. However, I've heard mixed experiences from other guests regarding their initial check-in and support.
Location

The hotel is situated on Zamalek Island, which is perfect for exploring nearby parks, the Nile, and various shops. It's a quiet escape from the hustle and bustle of Cairo.
Dining

I loved the breakfast in the executive lounge with fresh fruits and a great selection. The bakery restaurant offered delicious paninis that I couldn't resist.
Facilities

The amenities were great, with a nice pool and well-maintained fitness center. However, I did notice some guests had issues, like air conditioning problems that went unaddressed.
